7k Metals Expands its Beauty of the World Collection
7k Metals, an emerging leader in the precious-metals industry, turned heads with the rollout of 14 new coins in its exclusive Beauty of the World collection. This release spotlighted some of South America’s most breathtaking natural wonders and contributed to the collection's ultimate goal of featuring 84 one-ounce silver coins depicting stunning landmarks from around the globe. Designed to be the company’s most comprehensive global collection and one of the largest in its portfolio, Beauty of the World reinforced 7k Metals’ reputation for introducing collectible gold and silver coins widely regarded as works of art.
South America joined Australia as one of the first two continents featured in the Beauty of the World collection. Coins in the South American set align with the collection’s intent to highlight both iconic and lesser-known natural wonders of the world, such as the Azores in Portugal, Iceland’s Hengifoss Waterfall, and Ireland’s Giant’s Causeway.
“At 7k, every collection we develop is done so with the intention of inspiring awe and appreciation for incredible places and people on our planet,” said Blake Davis, chief sales and marketing officer. “The Beauty of the World collection is a testament to this as it puts on display some of Earth’s stunning hidden treasures.”
Keenan Ariante, 7k Metals project coordinator, shared additional insight: “The idea was to show people places on different continents that you have never heard of but are cool enough that you’ll put them on your itinerary to see when you travel there.”
The collection launched in January 2024 with coins from Australia, and the South America set marked the second of six planned releases. Although the full series will include 84 coins, customers had the option to purchase coins as each continent was added. “It’s the first collection that spans the entire world, and one of my favorite aspects is that there are subsets by continent,” Davis explained. “If collecting all 84 coins seems overwhelming, you can start with just 14.”
The mintage for 10 of the 14 coins per continent was limited to 7,777, while the remaining four were limited to 5,000 each. Although the Australia set had already been released earlier in the year, coins from that set were still available at the time of the South America release.
The Beauty of the World collection was one of many special collections introduced by 7k Metals in recent years. Previous collections included the Historical Monuments collection, featuring iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the Beijing Temple of Heaven. In 2023, 7k released the An American Life: JFK collection, honoring John F. Kennedy, with 7k leadership personally presenting the collection to a notable member of the Kennedy family.
